Bash your head into your desk.

It will not cure your hiccups, but it will make me feel better.

Since I was too lazy to either go get water or bash my head into my desk, I just held my breathe. My hiccups are now gone. Resume your normal activities.

Hiccups are from a movement in a diaphram - controlled by your muscles. These muscles are usually moved without you needing to think about it (like the heart muscle). However you can control them if you want. All I do is stop everything, and focus all my effort on controlling the muscles properly - and I don't ever have a second hiccup.

Hold your breath, push down on your diaphragm, and drink some water at the same time. Works like a charm.

Somebody set him up the bomb with "that" picture....the one where "somethings wrong with this picture...study it carefully" That will work! :D

Why do I think that people who eat fast tend to have hiccups? I haven't had hiccups in ages now. I think I would attribute it to not eating fast. :p

"This sucks... they keep coming back. I have cough and sore throat too."

And you'll keep having it, for as long as you don't find something productive to do instead of "neffing". :p

1) drink water
2) take a deep breath..REALLY DEEP...until u can't take in ANY more air..., then hold it for 20seconds.

The only way I can stop them is to burp. Usually only a little air in my throat that caused it. I suppose drinking some water might cause the air to go up/down.
