iwill XP333 has been the best+worst MOBO experience I've ever had.
1. The active cooling fan on the northbridge is like 60db. twice as loud as all of the other 6(80mm) fans combined.
2. the northbridge is incredibely easy to overheat.
3. when the northbridge does overheat, it takes hours to get the computer to post.
4. It takes upwards of a dozen attempts to reset the bios manually (ie: replacing the jumper for the bios battery and/or replacing the bios battery itself)
This means that almost everytime I have to install something, it'd a given that it will take at least an hour to get the system to boot. *sigh*
Nonetheless, when it's working it's nice. Running cpu/memory in sync at 170 fsb stable for a while. yay!
Oops... forgot to mention the real beast... the old via apollo kt133 (not 133a).
That board was a real whore. It was completely impossible to get it to run stable in 2k with a nvidia based graphics card. Everytime you ran a dx game/application it would crash like there was no tommorow. I spent several months trying to resolve the issues, never was able to. Uck... crappy chipset.
