post your 8500DV 3dmark2001 scores

I'm just wondering what kind of scores other people are getting. I feel like my scores are a little lower than what I should be getting. I was getting 3600 right off the bat but after installing the Intel INF drivers and Application Accelerator, I'm getting around 4120 now. All this was at default clocks. When I OC it to 275/400, I got 4344 marks.

All this was on a P3-1ghz @ 133 fsb on an Asus CUSL2 with 256 MB of RAM. Should I be getting higher scores? If so, what should I do (or what did you do) to get higher scores?

You should post up your compare URL. Sadly I have no real tips for you aside from grabbing the latest Catalysts but at the risk of sounding stupid here, I don't think that's necessarily too bad, with the lower memory clock speeds and 64MB RAM...

Although, I guess you could o/c your system a little. (If you want to do that sort of thing). My small overclock and the new Catalysts improved my score by 400...

I don't have a DV but I can tell you that with my regular, non-overclocked 128MB AiW 8500 my score is 5286... (system: P3 733 @ 770, 140FSB, Asus P3V4X, 256MB generic PC133) ...but I think that could even be better.

I'm too lazy to sit through all the tests anymore...the ones I ran are the only ones that actually contribute to the score.

ok, I figured out my problems to be related to the new Catalyst 2.2 drivers. I started reading around over at the rage3d forums and found out that alot of other people are having troubles with their cards too. Anyways, I went back down to the 2.1 drivers and everything is working fine now

I even jumped up my 3dmark score by almost 2000.
default CPU and video card settings
CPU at 147 FSB and video card at 275/210

Just installed my 8500 today, along with a brand new AMD 1600+ Athlon XP, woo woo

My first, unoptimized 3DMark2001 score was 7583.

I'm looking to improve this score--my goal is 8500

Anyone else???

i get 7900 on a 2.66 ghz p4
