I'm running my new XFX 6800 rock solid at 360/800, antec smartpower 400w, stock cooling, 73c load, 60c idle. i want to see how high most 6800nu's can go. please post card brand, cooling, temps, speeds, psu....

thanks everyone!
-edit-just squeaked by test at 375/815, that hacked 3000 points off 3dmark03, so it looks like i'll be staying at 360/800 till i can mod the bios to 1.4volts and get an NV5 on this thing.

add any 3dmark scores you have as well.

Theres a thread on this already but im getting 375 / 810 on my pny

my idle is anywhere near 45-55 i have the stock pny cooler but removed the thermal adhesive and put as3 on it

testing it with CS source and rthdribl i'm maxing out at 62-65
i turned off testing and set it to 400/825 testing it with rthdribl and doing 65-69 temps
room temp 70F ish, case temp 80F ish
73 seems high for me but maybe i have some OCing room🙂

i love this card

I got mine running at 350/790 with everything unlocked, idles at 40c and goes upto low 50's with an nv5 silencer. Definetly has more headroom but its not like i need an extra 5 fps.

Using detect optimal, I'm running at 392/834 with everything unlocked and stock voltage / HSF.

Temps: 59C idle, 65C full load.

3dmark05 - 4421 with specs in sig.

wow nice

This card is a god-send when it comes to OCing. I can easily reach 425 / 870 everything stock and have it pass the Coolbits test (stock voltage / HSF). It tends to get unstable and seems to throttle once the graphics really start to pick up, though so I leave it at 392/834... which is more than enough, heh.

One day when I have a lot of time I'll see how far I can actually push it.

Never over 70 degree's C with stock cooling.

what method?
riva tuner with internal test off ... detect optimal... or??

rivatuner with internal test ON. With internal test OFF, I can get to 900 on the memory. mark03 scores aproaching 11000 w/ pentium 2.8, 1 gb pc3200, Dell 400SC!

right now, i'm throttleing if i go to 375/815, but my PSU is a bit weak, seeing as everything in my rig is OCed. (yes, even the floppy 😛) i'm ordering an NV5 tonight, and i have to get enough guts together to do the 1.4v bios mod.

futhermore, when i do detect optimal, it throws up stuff barely above stock. Do you have any idea where detect optimal gets its numbers?
