I'll play this time. I don't think women in Texas are done with patriarchy yet. In Wisconsin, I think the anti-choicers intend to reward the Republicans handsomely.

This is the way it should go if we lived in a sane world:

This is what I realistically think could happen:

Being as optimistic as possible...NC is the biggest stretch here, obviously. If PA goes to Trump I think we're fucked.

Ok, I'll play. I'm also with the Wisconsin flip in a <0.5% recount nailbiter, but Dems holding Michigan and Pennsylvania both in nearly as close of races... and Dems stealing North Carolina helped by their objectively terrible (R) candidate slates for state offices.

Also, election certification deadlines missed by both Michigan and North Carolina when local board members illegally block certification, claiming fraud based on fabricated Musk/Russia amplified evidence widely shared on X and then repeated on Fox.

I can't fucking believe this election. I just saw Ted Cruz's ad while turning the Yankees-Guardians game on and it literally said his opponent was going to sterilize children and force sex changes on them in the schools if elected to the senate. I'm dead serious, this isn't something from The Onion. And of course Cruz will win because fucking Texas.

Having just spent two weeks in NC and coincidentally I also spent two weeks there just prior to the 2020 election, I'm not feeling it. I think Biden 2020 had a better chance there than Harris 2024 and Biden lost the state.

So far in Wisconsin the only statewide election that I’m aware of post Roe being overturned that had gone Republican was Ron Johnson for the Senate after a successful attempt to rebrand himself and a huge amount of fear mongering over George Floyd protests. I’m going to be optimistic that Democrats will get another win.

With that said Ron Johnson is an embarrassment, but he made an attempt rebrand himself for the election, and Trump has done none of that. With that said, after how 2016 went, anything is possible.

I swung for the fences in the OP but I'm quite nervous about AZ, GA and the blue wall. Was Biden a one off or was Trump a one off?

So much to be decided this time around and no poll, no metric, no reasoning seems to apply.

I'm less worried about Georgia thanks to that judge putting the kabash on the magat handcount nonsense. I see other states are fighting the favorite repug tradition of purging voting roles right before an election too.

I'm confident, but still have the heebie jeebies a little as this really is the "Is America Too Dumb To Exist" test. I expect several red states to fail, hard, Harris to dominate the popular vote, and the GQP to try and cheat and steal it's way to the White House again, even if the American people overwhelming say 'piss off' at the voting booth.

Here is actually the most realistic map, if one were to take the average, of aggregated polls in each state, and no leanings.

Your second map is exactly what I would pick as well.

His opponent should run an ad that goes like…. During the 2021 power outage Ted Cruz ran to Cancun and AOC had to help Texas with the power outage.. vote Ted Cruz out to keep AOC from coming to our state

Gotta cut harder than that. 'Ted Cruz wants to take your kids to Cancun and doodle them until election day'.
