post wisdom teeth extraction

its almost been a week. tomorrow itll make a week. one side is healed, the other side is kinda fvcked!

i can eat on one side, but the other hurts like heck when i wash it out with that little syringe thing the dentist gave me. what should i do? i go back tomorrow for a check up. i dont wanna have him cut my gums open again and then stitch it back up again. what do you think he'll do for a infected gum area? help me... thanks!

Just because it hurts when you spray it with water doesn't mean it's infected. Mine hurt if you directed the water stream directly into them, but I never had any infections. As long as you're taking your antibiotic & you don't have drysocket, you're probably fine.

It's just this one side that hurts. The other side doesnt hurt at all. This one side feels really irritated. Other side is just fine.

I'm letting mine grow in so it'll be easier (and less painful by far) to have them removed.. good luck..

LOL

I never even used one of the Vicodins. I also have a refill on that. It's good until like Next year on the day I got the surgery.

If it is infected, you'll probably get some antibiotics to get rid of the infection. Have you used the mouthwash they give you??? Does it look dark red and swollen?? Any discharge?
