unfortunately, there are many shows that suck. It seems to be getting worse.

some of the ones I can't stand are:

Whitney
Emily Owens MD
Parks & Recreation
Body of Proof
Cougar Town
True Blood

there are probably more but these are the ones I remember.

Can't stand HIMYM, whitney, up all night.

I'm on the fence over BBT, sometimes it's funny but I don't watch it regularly at all.

98% of other sitcoms currently being made.

BBT is watchable. Community and The Office used to be good, are now not, but still more entertaining than most everything else (okay, recent Office episodes have been pretty fucking terrible).

For non-sitcoms: anything about fairy tales. Any newer show with a name that consists of one arbitrary word (I can't actually name any of them because they're so forgettable).

Everything on USA except Psych and Burn Notice

All CSI. All NCIS. Law and Order from the past five years or so.

You don't remind me of a dude who likes many mainstream shows. I remember reading in the movie thread all these weirdo movies I'd never heard of that you were watching...so basic cable shows probably aren't up your alley. Maybe I'm wrong.

Big Bang Theory is hilarious IMO. Especially the first few seasons, funny nerdy jokes that I can relate to.

Arrested Development - Could never get into that
The Kids in the Hall - my buddy force fed me this show - I wanted to cut myself.
