Reached 5 million on Collatz today, also had my first over 1 million point day BOINC combined(adding 2 GTX 480's a couple days ago pretty much doubled my output depending what projects I select)

congrats! its been a while since i've had a 1 million point day myself, and i've only had a handful of them at that.

Congrats Icecold! BTW, after some time it becomes an obscession. Thus beware: when you find yourself considering av new cruncher, with 2 CPUs (6 cores each) and three GPUs, you need to find some one to whack you on the head ... ;)

Unfortunately I think I'm pretty much at that point. I've already put in a couple offers on 4 processor 6 or 8 core AMD machines for BigADV folding but I was too late on them. At this point I think my next purchase will be a Dell C1100 server for a little over $400(dual Xeon L5639's, so two LGA1366 6 core/12 thread Xeons along with either 36gb or 72gb ram)

Hardware I've accumulated that's primarily DC related(but also used for very occasional gaming, VM testing for work, etc. etc.):

FX8350 machine
FX8150 machine
(2) 1090t machines
(2) Quad core AMD machines
Several Core2Duo machines(these were more or less free and are used with GPU's, I don't really use the Core2Duo CPU's for DC)

Video cards:
(2) GTX 480
GTX 470
GTX 460
GTX 460 2win(2 GTX 460's on one card)
AMD 6950
(2) 4890

I don't run anywhere near everything at the same time due to heat and electricity, it's still fairly warm where I live this time of year. Going forward I want to get rid of a lot of my gear and move to some newer more efficient parts.. but I really just need to quit browsing the FS/FT forum.

Just passed 750 Million point in BOINC combined.
I hope to reach 1 000 000 000 points within one more year ...

No, it will be a nice milestone. :)
In one year and 1½ months it will be a decade as a member of TeAm AnandTech, and in december 2013 it will be a full dozen years crunching Seti@Home ...

On BOINC, I recently broke into the top 5,000 for US position, and 15,000 for world position using my core i5 and 2 x Geforce 670 GTX cards and an old Athlon 64 x2 (socket 939, woo!) with 2 x Geforce 280 GTX cards.

Yes, I'm on the Anandtech team :p
