A few months back I built an AMD Phenom 8600B Triple-Core rig for a neighbor. I tried to get him to join the TeAm, but he has no interest in things DC. But, he does allow me to run SIMAP under my account.

That rig just passed its 100 000 milestone.

Just passed 45 Million credits in BOINC-combined and 4 000 in Orbit@Home.
In Orbit@Home I have in incresed my credits 80-fold in thye past 3 days ... ;)

There is such a difference in gaining credit now compared to 3 years ago: now many crunchers have a production which is 5 - 10-fold higher than it was before multi-core processors and GPUs started to be common place in DC.

Point in Case: half a year ago I was very happy if I crunched 100 000K in one good day - and the average was around 60 - 80K. Now I crunch approx. 475 - 550K per day and some 850K on a top day ...

Vincero recently passed 10M in DPAD :)
JonB hit 666M recently in DPAD :eek: heh

And congrats to all the milestone makers :cool:

I switched my main cruncher from DPAD to F@H earlier this year, started with about 1/2 mill points, currently nr 1.7mill, not far off hitting 2 mill.
Fast approaching 11yrs of SETI!:eek: (Oct 16th)

I'd be congratulating myself to much :wub:
Lol

Nice rig you have there, specs & looks :cool:.

Btw which projects did you find answers lacking? (I think E@H at least has a fairly small team?)

Petrus
Wow! you have some serious PC HP now!!:eek:
Congrats to that!:cool:

Re multi-core, yea sure thing, I've had my Q6600 nearly 2yrs now I think, & it alone is still keeping me in the top 20 in F@H! :D

LoL: HP = HP-sauce?
sauce = juice?
HP = high production?
beats me!

Peter is back in Top 100 Folding :)

Congrats all!

EDIT: horse power, of course!
Peter, we should have figured that out with Assimilator1 being a mechanic :rolleyes:
OK, so what's HP-sauce?

A good sauce for meat and other stuff. Here is the Wiki-article!

I knew about HorsePowers. But HP-sause is much more fun, especially if you get it in your face ... inadverently of course ... ;)
