Post system clone kernel panic

I used DD to clone a master drive onto the drive of another computer. The two pcs are exactly the same, and the DD went off without a hitch. The system is dual boot Fedora 4/WinXP. The XP partition boots fine, but I get the following error when booting linux:

Uncompressing Linux... Ok, booting the kernel.
Red Hat nash version 4.2.15 starting
mkrootdev: label / not found
mount: error 2 mounting ext3
ERROR opening /dev/console!!!!: 2
error dup2'ing fd of 0 to 0
error dup2'ing fd of 0 to 1
error dup2'ing fd of 0 to 2
switchroot: mount failed: 22
Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!

I put the master into the new pc and it boots fine on it. Never had a cloning issue before between these two pcs so I find it odd to get a kernel panic now.

mkrootdev: label / not found

It's not finding the root / partition.

Do you need to run Fedora4? Fedora6 is going to be here in a few days.

ALOHA
