Just ran 3dmark03... my sister was freaked out by that woman's face lol...

Barton 1.83G @ 2.2G
1x512 Winbond CH5
Abit NF7-S rev 2
Radeon 9700 Pro Stock

Got a score of 5029... seems kind of low compared to everyone's score

It means precisely dick, but I'll humor you :) 6113 Oh and I hate how it shows your 2D clock speeds :disgust:

:D i got the exact same score!

3dmark03
Which proves it means dick since your card would stomp mine at any real DX9 based game :D probably almost any DX based game for that matter....

I just ran 3dmark2k3 on my girlfriend's pc that i just set up for her

here are the specs:

1700+ @ 1.6ghz
msi kt133a
896mb pc133
Geforce FX5200
40gb 4200rpm toshiba laptop hard drive

I got 1090 marks

i found although the FX 5200 is a weak card it overclocked pretty well and is at 301/375 from it's default 250/330
i might push it a bit more later

I just through a 2500+ in the system now and am comparing scores at the same clock speed, then i'll bump it up a bit
sandra gave me slightly lower cpu scores and slightly higher mem scores so far

also this cheesy motherboard only cost me like 30 bucks
it won't work with 3 mem sticks at 2-3-3 (the fastest the bios has) settings and just ignores the 3rd dimm when set this way
so i got the mem running at a crazy slow 3-3-3 for now
also the highest voltage this board lets me set is 1.64v (the 1.7v setting)

so we'll see the 2500+ might be able to hit 2ghz in the board with those voltages if not more

i'll be back..

Ok the barton only gave me 6 more 3dmarks
hahahahaha figures

anyways after clearing the bios with the 2500+ instead of the 1700+ i noticed it gave me a few more voltage options
but that don't matter much since the highest mult i can choose is only 13 and the highest fsb is 138
so looks like it's gonna top out at 1.72ghz

ohh well unless i mod some bridges it ain't goin any higher

Well, the 5200 in his GF's boxen is technically as DX9 compliant as an nV card can be, it's just way underpowered ;)

I'ze be gettin' 5210 points in 3DMark2003 with my overclocked AiW RADEON 9700 Pro (325/310) at (360/335) and an Athlon XP 2400+ at 2.5GHz (12.5x200) on an Abit-NF7-S v1.2 (BIOS 21).:)

Geez I got that chaintech 5200 oc'd to 321/420 for a 1194 3dmark score (that's like a 20% overclock)
i could prob push the core over 330 but i could feel the heat on it going up
i pushed the mem a little higher but i got fragments in the nature scene on 3dmark
not too bad tho
all the thing needs is more memory bandwidth
