I just got 1923 with 3dmark2k3 with my current P4 system

this is pretty good the vid card mem oc'd very well

anyone wanna post their 3dmark scores ?

3976 with the AMD system in my sig.

3976

I may try the 44.03 drivers with this system, just for comparison with the 52.16 drivers, as the 44.03 drivers scored higher than the 52.16s in 3DMark2001SE.

It means precisely dick, but I'll humor you 🙂 6113 Oh and I hate how it shows your 2D clock speeds :disgust:

Yep, doesn't mean much.

Hey, don't pick on those 2D clock speeds; my 5600u-f/c is screaming along at 59/180! 😉

Did you clock it that low? Does it affect your 2D IQ? How's the temp?

That's too much voltage brudda, you'll be 🙁 about your P4 rig next if you ain't carefull 😉 and we all know your track record as the keeper of dead hardware souls 😛

I got 5787 with my 1700+ at 2067mhz, 8rda+ rev1.1, HyperX pc3000, Radeon 9800pro @ 416/360....I guess it ain't too bad...I have broke the 6k mark but later found out that high of an oc on my vid card wasn't stable in BattleField so I backed it down a bit.

I'm really not sure what the heck is up with those timings; I sure didn't set them that way. The coolbits tab actually tells me the 2D timings are 235/900 (I now have 3D set at 475/900). Rivatuner and 3DMark, however, both show 59/180 (Rivatuner actually shows both 2D settings (instead of 3D settings -- Grrrrr!)), 235 over 59 and 800 over 180 (didn't o'c w/ Rivatuner) -- not sure what that means. Anybody have a clue what's going on in there?

I can't tell how it might be affecting IQ, as I just installed the card and have only played with benchmarks, no games yet. Desktop and web browser colors/images look good.

The temp tab in the 52.16 driver panel shows idle temps in the mid to high 30s (C) for the GPU, low 30s for "ambient." The GPU temp gets into the mid to high 40s on repeated runs of benchmarks.

Is it really worth using 3DMark2003 to benchmark a Ti4200? Wouldn't 2001 be a better choice?

Because the latest is testing something that the card doesn't have =)

i know but it still gives a score for dx8.1 cards
just means it won't run the dx9 tests but still gives a score based on what it can run

i might compare to my fx 5200 soon
i'm willing to bet the GF4 will get higher 2k3 scores

Edit: Just got some BH-5, updated score. Twin pack 2 x 256MB KHX 3200 A01. Going from Cas 2-2-3-7 to 2-2-2-7 gave me a whopping 240 points!

Radeon 9000 Non-Pro, Athlon XP 1700+ "Palomino", 1GB PC2700 chugging out 1017 Marks with 3DMark-2003 v. 330.

It's not much in synthetic benchmark terms but it runs all my games quickly so that's good enough for me. 🙂
