Because you could do it on the entire front page if you wanted. Calling Wrong Forum is one thing, but contstantly calling 'repost!' or 'search!' doesn't help.

If there really are very similar matches, you find them and educate, rather than berate!

How did I berate him with my post? I didn't. I don't constantly call repost and search. I rarely mention reposts and searching. Stop for a second and consider what you're saying.

Besides, encouraging someone to search and find the results for themselves is a good thing. If they can learn from the situation and begin searching in the future, that's educational. 🙂

Do a search in the link you prompted and see what comes up. I used 'shortcut' and got three topics, none of which relate to this one. I think you should stop and consider what you post sometimes.

Ctrl + T and Ctrl +PgUp/PgDn for firefox tabs. (also mouse button 3 for open in new tab; but that isn't really a keyboard thing)
Ctrl + Fx for switching between virtual terminals
Ctrl + S and Ctrl + P for word processing
Alt + F4 for smiting
 
Ctrl-A (select all)
Ctrl-C (copy)
Ctrl-V (paste)
Ctrl-S (save)
Windows-D (desktop)
Alt-Tab (woohoo!)

I'm so special.

That only searches thread titles, which everybody should know if they actually paid attention. Relying on that search as if it's the only search on these forums is lazy and stupid. 🙂
 
well, if i take McDougall down to Howard and hit EC Row from there, it usually saves me about 5 minutes, depending on traffic.
