Okay, there were only 6 other people in the theatre when my wife and I showed up...

Anyhow, here are some questions / thoughts:

* Were all the Wookies killed on that planet except Chewie and the other?

* When Sidious said he could save Anakin's wife from death it was confusing, because later he said that only with Anakin's help could they discover the secret of immortality that only one other had achieved.

* Then when Yoda said that he communed with Obi-wan's mentor, was he the one that Sidious was referring to?

* Did anyone notice the cameo of the Millenium Falcon?

* Did Samuel Jackson's Jedi character really have the chance to kill Sidious - or was that just a setup to get Anakin to commit to the dark side?

* The clone warriors were under the emperor's control when they turned on the Jedi, I wasn't clear from the last movie about who created them and why. I thought Obi-Wan went to the cloning planet to find out about the same - but I can't remember the resolution to that (something about the planet being wiped from star charts or something).

The reason why Eps. 1-3 sucked is because Lucas himself crossed to the "dark side" many years ago. He has even admitted it.

Master Windu is the best light saber duelist in that era. He could have killed Darth Sidious if Anakin hadn't intervened.

Too much whiney Anakin, not enough Darth. And Master Shaft was the best duelist period.

No.

Sidious lied to Anakin about being able to save Padme in order to turn him to the dark side.

No.
