LOL - matches my avatar! I've been involved in a lot of pet activities, but I RARELY see bulldogs. What are they like temperent-wise?

I have a male and female, and they are the total opposites, but generally speaking they are protective and mellow.
They love to sleep and play, they snore like banshees. they have the most expressive faces you'll ever see.
The Female loves anyone new, the male tends to be a little shy. They are a couple of knucklehead through and through. I love them but they are doggy dogs, I.e. dog hair (short but oh they do shed) They only slobber really when they drink, and for food. They tend to smell doggy because of the skin folds.(good maintinance helps)

They are always ready to play, very fun loving and entertaining. The females tend to be more aggressive.
I have broken up many dog fights because the female was being territoral and dominate. She can be very agressive. The male is so mellow and fun loving he is the best around kids! The female is great at first but i wont trust her around small children because she can't handle situations were she's teased excessively or toys are involved, But she's a snuggler and very loving in general.

Oh and of course there are the Vet bills the Female has run at least $4000.00 while my Male has been trouble free. So in short if you ever consider buying a Bulldog buy a Male and buy the Best quality dog you can afford.

I love schnauzers too, doolee lives with my parents and when I get a dog to live with me it will be a schnauzer. Sorry to hear that you had to put to sleep one of your schnauzers :( Tinkerbell is cute, I see that you got her ears cropped it makes her look prettier :)
