"thedarkwolf what's the story on that Galaxie? Is it all original? Low miles? Been in the family for years?
Here's another enthusiast My 67 Galaxie Web Page "
It wasn't a in our faminly or anything special like that I had just always wanted a classic car and my dad spotted that one on one of his many trip into virginia and compared to most of the other cars I had been looking at that one was in a lot better shape, still cheap, and I liked the look( that big ol 390 helped a bit

). I was actually looking for a dodge dart but every one of those I looked at seemed to have some pretty major rust problems. Anyway I have had the car now for a little over 5 years and the only real major thing I did sofar is rebuild the engine.
It wasn't anything special, plus the block had several cracks in it, so I didn't really bother to keep it original. I have kept all the origanal parts that I took off except the block though. Beside the stock 270hp just isn't enough

so I had to make some mods. As for mileage it shows around 44k

but I would guess it has 244k on it maybe 144k.
Now that I have a job that pays decent hopefully I will be able to do some more work to it. My next big project will be a frontend rebuild and disc brake conversion. Then hopefully if I can get enough money together I ll have somebody do the body work and paint next summer. Then there is the trans. It has an FMX trans and it shift ok but it takes a long time to engage reverse always has but it getting worse every year so I would like to swap a rebuilt c6 in there soon.
I have several more pics
here if you want to look. Please ignore the ugly sparkplug wires and coil, it was an emergency and I haven't got around to fixing it yet

. Also its normally a bit cleaner than that but I didn't have time to clean it before I snapped the pics.
