I just got my first digicam(Canon S45) about 2 weeks ago. So I was just looking for something useless to post pics about.
I know the pic isn't that great. I'm a beginner. When I used flash, you can't really see the lights, but when I turn the flash off, even at 400 ISO, it's still too dark and blurs.

7-15 years of providing oxygen to the earth that wouldn't have been provided otherwise because the tree FARM would never have grown the tree if there wasn't a demand for christmas trees.
And it doesn't go to the garbage can, it goes to the bio recyclers where it gets mulched and ends up going back into the ground in someone's flower beds or garden and reduces the need to cut more logs from the forest to serve the landscaping demands.
Those of us who buy trees are helping the environment.

Hello.. people..

Since when was it ever bad to grow a tree?

It's not like they go out and pluck them from the forests.

They get turned into mulch whether you buy them or not. They can't just let them grow, they'll get too tall.. Plus they have to plant new seedlings for future harvests. Christmas trees are a good thing. The ground is green where they are growing, instead of developed.

Artificial trees are the bad ones. Look what they're made out of. Materials that are industrial made. Yum.
