New house pictures

We just closed on this house this weekend. We just moved to Portland and this is our first home!
We're going to complete redo the kitchen and convert an unfinished area downstairs to a master bedroom and master bathroom. We're also going to convert a bedroom into a huge walkin closet!

Very nice. I like all the windows.
What area of Portland is that in?

That's an incredible deal for a nice looking place.
I'm in Southern Oregon and after looking at prices all along the west coast, I though 145k for my 1500 sq. ft. house was pretty damn cheap.

Thanks. I could not believe the difference in price here in upstate NY when I bought it - houses in NE PA were DOUBLE the going rate. Just this year Binghamton NY (6 miles from my house) was listed as the #1 place in the nation for cheapest housing!

Shanti,
Where abouts in So Oregon are you? I am from Roseburg, though currently (and for past 30yr) in the mid Willamette valley.

Eagle Point.
I grew up in Eugene. Lived in Ashland for 2 years while getting my CS degree.
Bought our house in Eagle Point about 1 year ago.
