Yeah, I know. I'm all psyched to have my first digicam (S45) so I'm thinking of things to post pics of.
Here is mine.

EDIT: I know it's kinda small, but it's brand new and it's our first house after years of living in apartments and being a starving student with 3 kids. But the best part is it's on a cul-de-sac. So the kids have plenty of space to ride their bikes around in front. We bought it a year ago and there was nothing but dirt in the front and back yards. Looks much better now that we planted grass.

Here is the view from my neighborhood

Nice. Those are some huge lots. From the first pics, I thought it was out in the country and didn't expect you would have neighbors like that.
Most of the houses around here, even the one's as big as yours, are still on small lots and packed fairly close together.

I should have known this thread would make me envy many of you.
Oh well, I'm happy with ours. It's our first house and before that, we've always lived in small apartments.
In a few years, when the kids are all in school and my wife goes to work, we'll be looking for something bigger.

Thank you for the compliments. We sooooo lucked out last year when we found this house. It's in a small development (30 houses, full) with 1/2 acre lots, just 5 miles out of town, and smack in the middle of Amish Country. As a matter of fact, it was built by a Menonite carpenter, for himself and his family. It was the first house to go up in the development, and he picked the prime lot - nice high ground that gently slopes away in all directions. Only 5 years old, and the builder did a fabulous job with stained oak everywhere inside (crown molding, floors, stairs, wainscot). Not one piece of vinyl on the floors - it's either oak, ceramic tile, or burber. It backs up to an amish farm as you can see, so we'll never have to worry about a development backing up to our backyard. Best grass I've EVER seen. I don't mean to brag, but I truly found my dream home.

Anyone else seeing a picture of someone's rejection letter from Stanford?

I edited my first post to hopefully fix the link.
I think I had gotten the http from clicking on the latest added, instead of going to my album first.
