<< I was going to get that desk yesterday but the store was all sold out
Looks like a nice desk >>
Just got it last week from Staples. They wanted $159 or so in the store. Went home and checked on their web site for something and found it there for $85!! Ordered right away. It's awesome. Plenty of room, even with my 21" monitor.
You can always tell a true geek from a wannabe by his/her desk/work area. sileighty appears to be a pretty good example of a geek. Observe the cup with screwdrivers and the roll of toilet paper. The multiple spindles of CDs and the coffee cup could be further evidence of geekiness. The only thing that gives me doubt is the absence of any Twinkies, doughnuts or empty pizza boxes.
Nothing fancy. Don't grip about the wires, I did the best I could before I ran out of conduit. Too many drives and wires argggg. Sorry for the poor pic quality, my hands shake like a bitch.
Only have the main monitor going. The one on the right is hooked to the PC on the left, and is used for video (has a tv tuner). Use it for recording shows and putting them on cd. The left is just a second monitor for the main PC, use it for reports and stuff, don't need it on right now.
I have a 15" behind me that I think I'm going to mount on the top shelf of the hutch, use it as the 2nd monitor for the video computer, would look pretty cool up there 🙂
Some of those were edited cause I don't feel like showing everyone my closet 😛 Had to take the door off so the computer would fit over there.
