I wish I were at home now working with the new corrugated tubing I got in the mail a week ago. Once it's done though I'm gonna have a lot of big red wire loom going around my case but it looks infinitely better than seperate wires.

I am actually considering going back to flat IDE cables, I think they can be sculpted to look quite nice over rounded IDE cables, and might even prove to be beneficial to airflow if they are layed flat down.
 
What? Is that the heatsink the only thing anybody is going to take a jab at?

What about my mismatched memory and IDE cables on my sound & vid card? 😛

For about 3 months, the guts of one of my PCs sat running behind its monitor... without a case! The hard drive had a short IDE cable and sat on top of the empty PCI slots! I finally broke down an bought a cheap generic case from a local computer store.
 
Intend to do the same with my PC-V1200...

The hard part....

I have 3 E-IDE Hard Drives and 1 E-IDE Hard Drive...
 
If only I had a camera I'd show you 🙂 BTW ralf, what case was that? also your drive is suspended by rubber bands, nice. BTW this thread has more meat than the other thread, let this one TTT.
 
What kind of case is that Ralf? It looks so clean.. I like the way the fans look on the case, anything special done to it?
