Post-op hallucinations

Anyone ever hallucinate after surgery?

I had back surgery and the anasthesia made me loopy. While I was recooperating in the hospital bed (couldn't move) I thought there was porn on the TV.

Anyone else?

Nothing like that.

Got "put out" three times in my life (two fairly recently) but just woke up and looked around.

I didn't hallucinate, but the medicine they put in the IV made me really sleepy before surgery (duh, its supposed too), and afterwards, I just felt nauseous, and dizzy, but that was probably from lack of food, and just waking up from anesthesia.

Actually you're dying on the operating table right now and hallucinating all of this.

Hallucinating that you're posting on ATOT when you're dying...is there anything more sad than that? I'd take the pr0n hallucination....

is that where you hallucinate that you still have a penis and have to check to make sure it's gone?

I had a real strange expierence once they started putting the drug in my IV. The doctor came in the room on my right and when I turned to look at him my head was facing the right but I was still seeing what was on my left. Then it slowly caught up frame by frame going through the whole motion that my head went through. Also, all their voices had a real cool echo to them but thankfuly this all ended real quick as I passed out.

In my case I was being stupid and decided not to take any pain-killers, which was a mistake. After a while I let them do it, but I had more hallucinations when I had no drugs.

sounds like fun. I've never had surgery for anythhing, and other than a root canal, and my lips felt like the size of grapefruits from the novacaine

After I was put out for my wisdom teeth I was completely out of it, my mom was later telling me about conversations I had with the nurse that I don't remember, and I don't even remember leaving the building.
My memory just kinda snaps from waking up in the recliner to almost stumbling into a pillar after we left.

Good times
