I went to five and below and purchased both of my cousins 2 items each. Total was $21.

I figured sweet they got amazing gifts for Christmas.

I go to the post office and bam $26 shipping. More than the price of the gifts.

The price is the same near Holidays, as it is in July!
I'm tired of people whining about postage prices in general though. They should raise the rate for all that they do!!!!!.................. No, I do not work for the Post Office, UPS, Fed-Ex, or any mail delivery system/company.

Just stating my opinion.

 
It won't slide anyways with Priority if it went Coast to Coast as your in VA

3 Days.... regular times...

Unless you get a direct flight... I had a Seatac package > Boston = 2 Days

But It had an added airplane cargo label... the same one I had when I got an Airmail Parcel from AU
 
I have family out of state, and I order all their gifts online with FREE shipping. It saves me a bundle.

Agreed. Shipped package to my sister (TX to GA) on Monday, after work, and got notification e-mail today that it was delivered. Total cost, for a 5 pound package, was ~$7.50. 😀
