postnuke is written by guys who were fed up with phpnuke's bugs and the slow release of new versions.

i like the great integration phpnuke has, but i hate the graphical layout... and none of the theme really look all that different.

i use mambo open source but the compoent integration is very bad... (i.e. phpbb)

is there a CMS that looks good and has great compoent integratation?

I'm using PHPWebsite right now. I like the layout of the admin area, but I think the support and updates are a bit slow.

I'm looking for a new CMS myself, and I'm not sure which one to go with for a small personal site. Plus, I'm an amature, so it needs to be easy to set up. :)

I tried php-nuke a while back when I decided to go with PHPWebsite. I kept getting lost in the admin menus, and couldn't make it act exactly like I wanted it to.

I'm interested to hear any other experiences from post-nuke vs. whatever CMS
