Please post if you've blown an Antec PSU in the last year. Put the PSU model and some basic specs - mobo, video card, how many drives you running etc.

My work fleet has roughly 40 of them (yay, statistically-meaningful sample :)) which range from 1 to 3 years old. I've had one SmartPower SL350 fail. No damage, just doesn't fire up any more.

Specs briefly: AthlonXP 2400+, Asus microATX nForce220D board, one each of HDD, CD and FDD, one stock 120mm cooling fan. Business usage, so ~40 hours per week.

Still haven't quite gotten around to RMA'ing it, maybe this week I'll get a round tuit though :D

Blew one the other day in a SLK350 case (300w PSU). Luckily it was still under warranty.

EDIT: Comp specs: AMD Athlon 2500+, ASUS A7N8X-VM, 512MB PC3200, DVD Rom, 40 GB HD, Floppy...nothing fancy.

Had a true330 that just stopped working anymore. It was over 2yrs old and on 24/7 under DC loads and it wasn't until a few weeks after adding a 6800GT@431/1.1ghz that it bonked ;)

Heh - forgot to post my own specs for those following along.

Asus A7N8X-delux mobo,
1gig ram (2x512s)
6800 GT video

One PSU was a truepower 430, the other was a 550

I've got this wierd hunch that the 6800GT might somehow be involved - it's a way long shot and a thread on a messageboard would never be able to bring up any statistical significance. Thanks for posts so far. Hope to see some more.

Two Truepower 430W's - one had something inside pop, and all the internal fans stopped spinning, but everything else worked.
Second one (the replacement for the first) will make a high pitched noise when it's under load. It has yet to be RMA'd.
