I bought a 2003 Civic EX coupe for my wife this year. We had been sharing a old car for a year before this. 10 days after we get the car I remove the ugly pin stripe and detail it. The next morning there's a huge dent in the rear quarter panel. It looks as if someone took a bowling ball and smashed the panel. Luckily there was no paint damage.

I goto the repair place the auto dealer recommends and they want $800 to fix it. Not only that but I think my car would now have a accident listed even though it was just a quarter panel that was vandalized. I said no thanks. Luckily I knew someone who had a friend that was a professional dent remover. He did the job for $100 and the panel looks pretty good. But being the perfectionist I am, I can still see where the dent was.

I park my car on the neighborhood street i live on. Someone backed into (I think) and there is a large dent in the driverside rear fender, right on the gas take door. Nice big scratch too. They didn't leave a note (of course) so it is still there.

I had my old Integra GS-R vandalized. Some idiot deliberately slammed his door into the side of it, then tore off the passenger-side rear-view mirror.

Of course, as soon as I got it back from the body shop, it was stolen and stripped (they took EVERYTHING but the body, including the engine, tranny, wheels, seats, dashboard, airbag, sunroof, etc.), and they scratched "Got your ass!" and "$23,000 gone to waste!" on the paint. Bastards!

I have the soft top roof, along with the right rear wheel taken from my then Tracker. The roof was been cut, probably around 4 or 5 other times, sometimes things taken. I'm still wondering why someone would try and take the Delco radio/cassette...

When I was a senior in high school, I was staying after class on October 8, 2001 to work on the school newspaper. When I came out to get ready for cross country practice, I discovered that my car had been walked on (I could see footprints on the hood, roof and trunk), and the windshield glass had been smashed. The person's weight had also created dents in the hood, roof and trunk.

First thing I did was call the front desk of the school, to see if the school liaison officer was there, but he wasn't - he'd gone home for the day. I called the AAPD, and they filed a report, but I never heard anything back. I took pictures of the car after it got towed to the body shop. It was undrivable, as the windshield was impossible to see through, and there were shards of glass all over the seats. I showed the pictures to my principal, and while he was 'impressed,' he never did anything in terms of improving parking lot security (cameras, attendants, etc.).

One month and $1600 of Allstate's money later, My car was good as new. It took a month because I had to get a new roof panel, a new hood and a new trunk, as well as a new windshield. The vandal had broken the paint when they made the dent, so paintless dent repair was impossible.

To this day, I have no clue who did it. I had no suspects, no one who hated me, etc. I honestly think that day, October 8, 2001, was the MADDEST I've ever been. This crime happened in broad daylight, between 2:23 and 3:35 in the afternoon, in the second row of my school's parking lot. I know someone saw it happen, but never came forward. I asked everyone I knew if they'd seen anything, and I even went as far to write about it in the paper (in an article about vandalism at school), but no one ever came forward.

Yep. Had the back window of my car shattered last year. I know who was responsible but don't have any proof, otherwise I would have called the cops. I did get them back though. :D

I have a 98 civic coupe and some thief went into my car to steal the cd player. However, he didn't break the window to get inside but instead he broke open the driver side door. I don't even know why he broke the door instead the window but it cost me 1200 in repair.

Thieves suck and if I ever see one near my car, I will beat the crap out of them.
