Post here if you are from Purdue

I'll hopefully be there in about a year and a half 🙂

Where do you go to high school now?

I'm going there this fall in Freshmen Engineering, I'll probably be living in Earhart or Cary.

Going to be there this fall... 🙂

Bonus question if you happen to know... does anyone there in engineering use Macs? They seem to discourage it, but I want to get a Powerbook anyway... 😱

They have a few mac labs on campus.

I work for the engineering department, a lot of professors use macs but most of the software you need to run is x86 based. Your mac would be useful for the UNIX side of it, but you'll definetly need a PC if you don't want to be in the labs your entire life.

edit: any other q's, just PM me.

Graduated from there in 2003. Oddly, I decided to move out of West Lafayette afterwards.

I'm gone the literal second I'm done here, fvcking garbage.

After I graduate, I will have lived here for 19 years 🙁😱:frown:

EDIT: I'm already ready to get out of this town, but my parents made me stay in state for college and Purdue is the best choice for engineering. Damn, why couldn't I like business so I could go t IU?
