Ok I just tried to put togeather my new system and at POST, there is one long beep followed by three short beeps. I pulled the motherboard out of hte case and ran just the mobo, my CPU, memory, one video card, and power and I was able to get to the BIOS fine. So I know CPU, memory, vid card are all fine.

When I put everything inside the case, nothing however. Does anyone know where I can find a list of what that set of beeps means? I checked ASUS' website, but I didn't find anything (It's hard to naviagte so it's very possible I just missed it). I have a high suspicion that the video card isn't fully seated... I had a helluva time getting it to fit inside the case when the mobo was mounted. I just want to confirm that with what the beeps are telling me.

If anyone knows let me know - thanks!

EDIT: Also, I have a 550W PSU that is made for SLI so I don't think insufficient power is the issue either.

Ok I just figured it out what the beeps mean and it does mean no video card so I guess that is indeed my problem.

Dammit :p

Did you use a different video card when you laid the mobo out on a bench? If not, I'd say you're grounding the mobo somewhere in the case.

Nah the video cards weren't fully seated. It took a lot of pressure and bending of the rear panel things to fit into the case slits... I got it all working now. Thanks tho!
