Post Count = Titles???

In the old version you used to be able to look in Help to see the post count = title listing. Now it's just a generic page (or I can't find the right place to look). Could someone please post a listing of titles and the corresponding post count? Thanks.

Probly one of those things that Jason hasn't quite got to yet. Let's just see if he has time later to add it.

The titles are specific to individual forums... AnandTech has their own set, while other sites might use different ones. Thus, the help file is very generic in this regard.

Here's based on my recollection of how it works:

0 - Junior Member
20 - Member
200 - Senior Member
1000 - Golden Member
2000 - Platinum Member
3000 - Diamon Member
10000 - Lifer

Titles are the same as before..

200 Senior Member
1000 Golden Member
2000 Platinum Member
3000 Diamond Member
10000 Lifer

From the FAQ:
6. Information about the number of posts associated with member status can be found in the "Help" section. In addition to the status that occurs automatically based on post count, you will find another called "Elite". In this case, it is not based on number of posts but rather is granted by the forum Administrators based on input from the forum Moderators.

Elite members are those who have been supportive of the forums, and positively contributed in a variety of ways, whether it is being helpul answering hardware questions, tracking down trolls in For Sale/Trade or just simply bringing a few smiles to other members in Off Topic.

You could make 5000 lifer and 10000 NoLifer.

Well, I'll put it this way, I think my almost 8.000 posts is pretty bad, but at least they're spread out over more than 4 years 😉

By not using vulgarities in my posts.

As Jzero said "Gratz to a dude who tells it like it is."

I'm cool with my Golden Member ranking but I find it funny that post count is the main criteria rather than longevity.

Yeah there are a lot of Elite members that don`t deserve it 😉,it`s how much money you can afford to pay the mods 😉.

Speaking of deserving, how come you aren't Elite yet Mem? I can't think of you ever being anything but supportive of the forums, and positively contributed in a variety of ways, whether it is being helpul answering hardware questions...or just being a good guy! Seriously, you got my vote🙂

Mem for Elite
