not everyone modifies their desktops. in fact, there are a bunch of threads about this very issue if you search for "friday desktop"

I believe it's called Xtrail, can probably find a lot of different wallpappers to look good with it.

In the display properties, you will see the two monitors listed as 1 and 2. . . simply move the monitor that is listed as 1 to the right of the monitor that is listed as 2. . .

Make sense? I'll take screenies if needed w/ lines and arrows, etc, if needed. . . enjoy.

Lastly I use Objectdock, and IconPackager which I used to replace most of my icons with a package I found in devianart.com.
