wow, i had no idea there was a market for individual chickens...i assumed they were all the same.

Yup, chicken auction phishers. They even signed up for accounts and gave each other feedback so as to appear legit. We did a couple p-p-p-powerbooks on them and they went away.
I'm the other half of the "eggbid team" that's not Tim, but we don't sign our emails that way.
I've seen a half dozen eggs from "special chickens" go for 600 bucks. The highest I've seen a pair of chickens go for is about $1800.
It's a cool niche.
