ripped from SD : http://www.mwave.com/mwave/skusearch...iteria=AA75715
The starting price is $59.99
-$10 mail-in rebate
You have to be a "MClub" member, which knocks off another $10 when logged in
use the coupon code: DEALNEWS11 (final -$10)

That should be $29.99 shipped AR.

Not sure if it is worth going thru the hoops, the next cheapest appears ZZF for $49.99 shipped new.

I have no experience with the MClub thingy, though it looks innocuous and doesn't ask for your credit card # on a cursory look.

JG gives it 7.5 for performance (quite decent otherwise but got some ripple under heavy load)
8.5 for functionality (not modular, small footprint, long and sleeved cables)

Not recertified either! shipping was $9.73 to Dallas, TX.

Well I am kinda torn about that 400CX in the other thread myself. That will work beautifully with a single 4850, but there might be a distant chance that I could go CF on that in the future.

This, at the same price has x4 12V rails providing 18A, which should suffice. Then I got the ripple to worry about, and the hassle of MClub thingy.

OCZ OCZ600GXSSLI GameXStream 600 Watt SLI ATX Power Supply - Recertified

It is actually. Makes the 400w Corsair look pretty good.

Right, but even with Corsair's very conservative wattage ratings, I doubt it will be able to power a pair of 4850s and an OC'd PhII with 3HDDs :(

Pretty sure the 600w has the PCI-E power connectors all on the same rail, so it may not handle crossfire too well.

A word of warning, I purchased 3 recertified 700 Watt GameXtream OCZ supplies from SVC and all 3 had the PCI-e leads fail while running a Geforce GTX 275 (same card works fine with an Antec supply - each ran the card through about 2-3 graphic benchmark tests and then stopped supplying power via the 6 pin connectors). SVC was great about issuing an RMA and refund but I am not impressed with the quality control on these refurbished OCZ PSU's.

Personally, I wouldn't get one for daily use but for a spare these are a good deal.

Ya, really don't think that would happen. I have a 550vx (41A) with a P2 X4 and 8800gt sli and every estimate/calculation I could come up with puts that at the upper limit of my 550. Maybe 10% to spare.
