Possibly the most important science breakthrough happened today (not really)

Rossi also reported that the industrial 1 megawatt eCat acquired by an unidentified military customer has been available for 90% of the time, or about 8000 hours, with a COP of 6. Rossi reports the home eCat is “years away,” supposedly due to consumer testing and certification requirements.

we haven't had any proven breakthroughs in over a year... but we haven't had any proven failures either. im starting to believe this might be real!

I think the foil is cutting off the circulation to your brain. Consider loosening your hat...

So it is my fault?

Don't kill the messenger, read the report.

Edit: I'd actually go out there and buy a bottle of champagne
20 pages and not a single message of support...:(

From the report:

The scope of the present work is to make an independent test of the E-Cat HT reactor under controlled conditions and with high precision instrumentation. It should be emphasized that the measurement must be performed with high accuracy and reliability, so that any possible excess heat production can be established beyond any doubt, as no known processes exist which can explain any abundant heat production in the E-Cat reactor.

So there, rather than being mad at me, short your oil stock tomorrow :p It is indeed a breakthrough in science.

You kind of lose validity by keeping up with this thread. It's pretty clear you're so invested at this point an e-cat could blow up right under your balls and you'd still cheer it as a breakthrough.

Look at it this way, when it starts powering something not used by scientists on a daily basis, then you can come back here and laugh all you like. Until then, your rabid defense of Rossi has longed ceased to serve a purpose beyond entertainment at your own expense.

Thanks for your insight. I appreciate it. Read the last pdf.

At this point, criticism is the most constructive form of support we can give. Same with any other unvalidated scientific hypothesis. Even one that would threaten to overturn large swathes of established physics theory. Especially one that would threaten to overturn large swathes of established physics theory.

OK,
I will step away from this thread again for a while. Lets revisit in few months and update the developments.

Instead, why don't you go through this thread and answer why every single thing failed to come true. 18 months ago, there was a company (rumors google - lol) who was testing this out. What ever became of that? Oh, I know... nothing, because there was no test because this is a fraud.

Dr Pizza can stick it:

Update 5/19/2013,

Rossi's reactor has been verified by a 3rd party test:

http://ecat.com/files/Indication-of-anomalous-heat-energy-production-in-a-reactor-device.pdf

It seems like a dawn of a new era, enjoy folks

OH NOOOOOO! How could you?

computer-facepalm.gif

You can't seriously suggest that Levi is a "3rd party"!

Oh, look here:

http://lenr-canr.org/acrobat/LeviGreportonhe.pdf

He proved it once before in 2010!

Here's another more likely explanation of the phenomenon:

The mods should lock this thread for your own good!
