Possibly stupid question

To me, i feel they are closely related. Being thoughtful in actions and words is very romantic to me (only if its from my husband 😀 ).
When i think of romatic, i of course think of love/sexual desire whereas with thoughfulness, that is just being kind.

So, romantic goes above and beyond just being thoughtful.
 
Doing the laundry and the dishes when I know that my wife has had a long day is thoughtful. But not really that romantic 😛

as mentioned thoughtful is having dinner ready when she gets home from a hard day at work. romantic is having reservations at her favorite cozy restaurant.

How about romantic being throughtful while pursuing romance? You can have a romantic dinner ready by taking your thoughtful dinner and adding some flowers, candles, and dimming the lights.
