I picked up a set of Midland MLi-FP32 flat panel speakers + sub for $19.95 today. Haven't tried them out, but I've talked to a few people who claim it's a better set of speakers than the Benwin BW2000 set they have for the same price. Midlands are a whitebox special, and I wasn't able to really find anything about them online, but I'll post my impressions of them once I get home and get them set up. I have Altec Lansing 45.1's right now which I paid a little over $100 about 2 years ago, so we'll see if I like these better.

Also, they have a spindle of 700MB generic blank CDs for $16.99, a PCI 4.1 channel wavetable soundcard by Inland for $10, and some Midland budget speakers for $2.95 a pair, if you need some for a family member or something. :D They also have 128MB PC100 for $70, which isn't a very good deal unless you're just lazy and need some memory.

I had the same speaker and sound card. They are low quality, IMHO. However, if you're not too fuzzy, then it's a good deal. They worked fine in my kids system.

So do you think the Benwin BW2000s would be a better choice? Most reviews I've seen online for them give them very high marks, I just couldn't find any reviews for the Midland MLi-FP32 set.

Nevermind, those Midiland MLi-FP32s are utter crap. Hard to believe Midiland could make such an awful set of speakers, but the Benwin BW2000s blow em away.

This place sucks. It seems like they sell all of their items at retail prices.
Fry's is the place for me!
