They are sold under name Vortex SQ2200, but they are in fact MX300+MX25 which cost more than $100 years ago.

My only concern is that under 98SE, will all new games work with Aureal chips?

EDIT: Sorry vendor is compgeeks, link

Maybe a link?

They will work in 98se and most games support the A3D hardware and even other new cards come with A3D sound support. Use the 2048 drivers.

This link will have all the support yuou need for it and the Via chipset. Edit the install ini so it doesn't install the SB support.

I read up a little bit on the mx-25 because it's been a while and it provides digital (coax / spdif) output some source like a 5.1 decoder or speaker set. This card does not do the dolby digital 5.1 decoding, however. Still seems like a really good deal for the mx-300 and mx-25 together. I already own an mx-300, but I might still snag this up. Thanks Roy2001.

Be careful, they never did drivers for win 2000. My mx300 did not work properly in win 2000. However, for 98 se it is a great card

Interesting.... I've use the MX300 card in several builds of Win2k and WinXP, since the drivers are built-in to the OS. The A3D component is not supported, but few games support it anyhow and I was not really impressed with it when I ran Win98SE.
