Possibly dumb SATA question

I just built a new system using a Chaintech vnf-250 and a Seagate 200G Barracuda SATA HD (hooked to SATA 0 port on mobo). I noticed during XP install it prompted to hit F6 to install other drivers for the HD if needed, but I just went ahead and partitioned the drive and installed with whatever XP drivers were available. Checking the properties of the HD under My Computer says it is Primary ATA drive. Does this mean it is effectively running at some sub-SATA rate, like ATA-100 or 133?

What benchmark or other check of drive status is there to test HD speed? Can I just just install SATA drivers now, or will I have to go back and reformat the HD and install the drivers at the F6 prompt? 😕
