A friend is having a bit of a problem. They're doing some work with ArcGIS 8.3 and all of the sudden, one of their MDBs is corrupt.

It's still 11MB or so, and the tables are there, but there's no information in it anywhere. It's like a skeleton. Google turns up lots of people who will try and fix this for a fee, but I was wondering if anyone here has any ideas about how to fix it.

I'd really appreciate any help that you all can provide.

First make several backups. Did you try the builtin "compact and repair tool" in Access? Are you using the correct version of access for the file?
Try to access the data by importing it in from another database and see if you have any luck.

I'll tell him to try that.

They have tried the file in Access and in Arc.
