Possible (untested) fix for XP Mouse Accelleration

I hope you didn't got your hopes up too much after reading this post's topic, (and I apologize if you did). But I have had several 'reports' that people have been able to 'disable' the mouse accell prob by Upgrading to Windows XP from Windows 2000. I'm not 100% sure if it works, and it still requires a lot of time. But it's something, and I have the feeling it really works I've seen it with my own eyes at my friends place and I can assure you he didn't experienced any kind of mouse accelleration.

I hope this helps some of you.

when I upgraded from win2k to XP pro, my mouse was fine in all programs but when I installed XP clean, the mouse is serioulsy screwed in Half-Life. I didnt notice any accelleration issues other than the fact that the option to change it disappeared in XP.
