Two friends, my wife, and I are in talks to possibly hit up Spain this fall. I've been to Barcelona back in 2002, but no where else in the country. We're looking at Flying to Madrid and spending some time there, as well as Granada, Cordoba, Seville, and Gibraltar.

Would it be worth spending a day and going to Tangier, Morocco?

Most definately, if you're that far already, its literally an hour boat ride if that.. You're going to Seville also which is on the Costa del Sol so its not even really out of the way.. I haven't been to Morocca but been to Seville, really nice place.

Can recommend a nice little hotel in the centre if you need one, PM me because i'll have to dig up the card.

Definitely worth a day trip, but not much more (unless you are rolling in dough and can hit one of the nice resorts or something). I was in Marbella for a few weeks a several years back and the day trip to Morocco is one of the best memories I have of that entire trip.
