Possible to use visa buxx card for paypal?

Does anyone know if its possible to fund a paypal account with a visa buxx card or other pre-paid debit card?

Do you know of any forums/places where I can ask this? I tried calling pay-pal and they said they were not sure but "we like regular credit cards more"...

Yes. Visa Buxx works like a regular CC on the merchant side. Only on your side, you know it's a prepaid debit card. Otherwise, it's like a Visa.

It should work, but not necessarily. I know that PayPal blocked pre-paid debit cards issued by their competitors back when they had competitors, like eCount. It may or may not work. Give it a try, though.

It should not work. If you are young enough that you need to get one of those, you can't handle a Paypal account.


Go to the local bank and open a checking account.
