I have had a T-Mobile ToGo phone number that I refill with phone cards. Recently, I opened a Family plan, so I would like to transfer the ToGo number to one of the phones on the family plan.
A T-Mobile CSR says that the ToGo number needs to be cancelled first. Then, after a two-week wait they MIGHT be able to reassign the number to the new account. This definitely kills the whole purpose of switching the existing number.
Has anyone done this successfully?
