Possible to run iOS apps from flash drive?

My 6th Gen iPad 32Gb needs more space. Is it possible to install and run apps from one of those USB drives that have a lightning port for iPads? What about wireless drives?

No. Apples ecosystems so restricted we’re lucky we’re even getting usb mounting in iOS 13
