Sometimes, when I'm tired working late at night or just not paying attention, I'll accidentally use "safely remove..." icon from the system tray to remove the internal flash media card reader, as opposed to ejecting it via the Windows Explorer.
With an external reader, unplugging it from the USB port and replugging it back would do the trick, but with this internal reader, the only way I know to bring it back is by rebooting. I was wondering if there was another way to rescan/reinitialize the reader and have it show up as removable drives in the Windows Explorer without rebooting?
Thanks very much for any help!
