Hi all,

Some time ago, I got talked into unlocking the bootloader on my phone and rooting it by a co-worker...

It never really went any further than that...

Now, 16 months later, I am at a new job and long story short, I need to unroot and lock the bootloader so I can get get on the network for emails and such.

I used the SuperSU tool to unroot the device.

Is there a method that I can use to relock the bootloader as well that someone can help with please?

Thanks,
Lee

I know there is a somewhat complex relock produce, but I believe it doesn't fully remove the unlock, because a certain signature cannot be recreated or something to that effect.

I relocked mine prior to selling, but it still showed up with the unlocked image at boot. I believe it was treated by software as actually being locked, however.

I'll try and dig up the instructions I had followed.

Thanks much in advance, ultimately that is all I am looking for to get the 'green checkbox' on this mobile security software the company uses...right now it is listing the OS as unlocked.

Quick update...

After F****** around with the standard applications to do this type of firmware downgrade...I spent around 4 hours and two computers and finally got the sequence right after sacrificing a chicken and praying to budda!

Once I got back to work today and went through the gambit of steps I was able to successfully pass the audit even though the phone says it is unlocked on boot up.

Thanks for the tips and tricks guys
