I have this old game, Magic: The Gathering, but can't play it on my system. When I go to install it, it gives me the following error: [Severe] This program requires Windows 95.

Is it possible to bypass this?

you will have to run it in compatability mode. right click on the install program, go into properties and find comatability, check the "run this program in caompatability mode for:" box and it shoudl be default set to windows 95, if not set it to that and click ok. this should fix. you will more than likely have to do this with the game exe as well.

Lords of the realm II only works on 95/98/ME.

I tried for days to get it to work on win2k after the massive disappointment with LOTR III.

I'd Rather Red Alert One simply worked, rather than getting a 95 installation for xp, but thanks

Exactly what I wanted to know as well.

Warcraft 2 runs fine on XP, but Red Alert is a disappointing no-go... :( Get with the program Westwood!
