Possible to play Half-Life 1 in Widescreen?

Just wondering since it'd be nice...gotta beat that game sometime if I'm ever going to play HL2

Damn lol all I hadda do was set it to Widescreen and 1680x1050 was right there....Steam's good like that I guess~

don't they have the original hl on the new source code, in this case you should be able to run it in true widescreen mode

You have to purchase HL2 for that~

Plus I have a hard enough time running HL1 w/ 4xAA & 2xAniso w/ my GF4 MX420 LOL 2xAA & 2xAniso will have to do for now~

Edit: And with only those enabled I get ~20fps when going topside in "We've got Hostiles" lol
