(Not sure where to post this... sorry. Please move to appropriate forum if necessary, thanks.)

I have seen a lot of people across forums trying to figure out if there is a good/best way to transfer/forward e-mail messages from Yahoo!, Hotmail, etc. to Gmail, in one fell swoop if possible. I have been wondering this myself, as I have about a dozen Yahoo! e-mail addresses filled with 3MB of messages each and it's a pain to log into them every several weeks to keep them alive. If anyone can think of any way to do this, please let me know. The best idea I have so far is go into each and every individual e-mail and forward the e-mail message to my Gmail account, one message at a time =P

Thanks,

Edit: I don't really wanna be doing this, because it's almost like a bribe, but if anyone can help me find a good solution, I will gladly give away a Gmail invitation to them.

sorry ... i dont know of a good way to move your Yahoo messages to Gmail

But... there is no reson to log into each Yahoo account manually just to keep them alive... get yourself some open source goodness at YahooPops and you can let it automatically go to each Yahoo mail account and download your mail to any POP3 client (Eudora, Outlook express or whatever else you like)... works like a charm for me...!

I have a Yahoo account and even when I didn't log into it for months, it was still active. Yahoo is NOT like Hotmail where they deactivate you after a month of not checking your mail. I personally wouldn't have left Yahoo for Gmail now that Yahoo gives you so much space now.

Everytime I change my E-mail on yahoo I get around 3-4K of spam per week. I say drop yahoo.

Am I blessed with Yahoo or just a special person altogether? I get very little spam on my Yahoo account. Also the trash in the bulk bin tends to empty itself out if I ignore long enough, while some emails I had sent over a year ago were still in the sent folder. Perhaps Yahoo just likes me better than it likes others. I will never get drop Yahoo.

I have actually lost about three Yahoo! e-mail accounts in the past and do not wish to lose anymore. I occasionally log into those accounts not only to keep them alive but also to check out things I have written in the past, but when I have this many e-mail accounts, it's a hassle to log into all of them.

Thanks for replying nonetheless,
