Possible to migrate applications and settings from old VPC to new Win7 VPC?

I'm asking because my old VPC is a WinXP Home setup whereas you need WinXP Professional to get all the latest features. But I cannot simply install these apps into the new VPC. Anyway I can do a transfer of my installed applications?
