Possible to make left+right click equal middle click?

Picked up a new Logitech M310 wireless mouse but the middle button is very hard, i.e., has a lot of resistance. Its not as smooth as the Microsoft Intellimouse Optical that I've been using but was forced to replace due to the left mouse button double clicking all the time even on single clicks. I use the middle button to open and close tabs in Mozilla Firefox constantly.

I installed the latest Logitech SetPoint software but didn't see anywhere where I could set it.
